You can return to the village with what we call the ‘tubing’. The river will bring you back while sitting in the big tube. White water rafting is a fun and exciting way to end your tour through the jungle.

TOURISM TRAVEL DESCRIPTION:

Come enjoy this special trekking package for 4 days. Starting with pick-up at the Medan airport or hotel, our staff will come with your name written for easy identification. Along the way you can see the atmosphere of cities, villages and trees on the side of the road and you can also stop to eat or go to the toilet. Travel for 4 hours to the Brown Bambu Bukit Lawang guest house and you will be waited on with a welcome drink and stay at Brown Bamboo Guest House in a family atmosphere.

In the morning before leaving for tracking we provide breakfast at the Brown Bambu restaurant. After breakfast at 09.00 our guide takes you into the forest of Mount Leuser National Park, Sumatra, where you can observe the rare Sumatran orangutan in its natural habitat for 2 days. Then the guide will take you. return to the village by walking through the forest or using the forest taxi that we have provided.

Enjoy a trip with us along the Bahorok river. Arriving at Brown Bamboo Guest, you will enjoy and pamper yourself with a massage for 1.5 hours. After that, our guide will take you to relax to see the small village in our village by riding a pedicab and enjoying young coconut water while seeing activities in our village such as making tempe, tofu, weaving roofs.

DAY 1

Travel for 4 hours to the Brown Bambu Bukit Lawang guest house and you will be waited on with a welcome drink in a family atmosphere.

DAY 2

Trekking will start at 09.00 in the morning after breakfast at Brown Bamboo Guest Bukit Lawang and end there no later than 15.00 the next day. And when entering a National Park, you are expected to follow the directions of the tour guide by not feeding, touching wild animals, keeping your distance from animals and not leaving rubbish in the forest. The climb will take around 2-3 hours every morning and afternoon with a lunch break. Then continue looking for wildlife by passing beautiful places in the Sumatran rainforest such as hidden waterfalls and natural pools.

DAY 3

In the morning the sound of birds chirping and the sound of the wind blowing in the forest wakes you up. Continue to day 2, which is your last day in the Mount Leuser National Park rainforest. After breakfast, your guide will arrange the distance and travel time and plan activities according to your wishes.

If you want to walk another two to three hours so you can see wildlife you haven’t seen during the trip or you can also choose to relax at the campsite for a few hours. We also provide lunch and fresh fruit in the forest. After eating you will walk to the river point where there are forest taxis waiting to take you back to the Brown Bamboo Hotel in Bukit Lawang. You will return from the forest to your accommodation at around 13.00.

After that, our guide will invite you to relax and see the small village in our village by riding a pedicab and enjoying young coconut water while seeing activities in our village such as making tempeh, tofu, weaving roofs.

After returning from the village tour, you can spend 1 night at Brown Bambu and you can relax in your room or you can relax and chat in the restaurant with our staff who are always ready to serve you like family and at home. DAY 4

This last day was a sad day for us because you will leave Bukit Lawang. After breakfast, our driver will take you to Medan Kuala Namu/hotel. On the way, enjoy the views along the way and you can also stop for food and the toilet.
